Childhood memories

Leaving
We were leaving
saying goodbye to my grandfather
My uncle was asking questions
that they couldn’t answer
Depression
Endless nights
Listening
Muffled crying
The walls are paper thin
Thinking I don’t hear them
A new journey
My grandmother is getting worse
Staying in a room
My father lives in the back porch
Bliss
Thinking of the better place he is in
There is no more pain
Only relief
